  AccuTru's high stability, longer life noble metal ceramic insulated thermocouples are providing significant benefits to the glass industry.  Used in glass melters, these thermocouples, manufactured with the highest quality ceramics treated with AccuTru's proprietary ceramic process provides extended life through reduction in damage to the ceramic sheath.  In addition, the materials used in the manufacture of the sensor provide better protection for the noble metal thermo-elements, reducing the likelihood of early failure caused by attack on the thermo-elements from furnace gasses.  

In lower temperature applications, AccuTru's Ex-L metal sheathed thermocouples offer life expectancies of up to four times that of conventional mineral insulated thermocouples.
