  Both AccuTru's Ex-L, extended life sensors and our SVS/2311 self-validating. self-diagnostic temperature measurement system have extensive applications in the refining industry.  

The Ex-L sensors provide extended life, up to four times that of conventional sensors, reducing the risk of sensor failure between turnarounds.  From use in cracking units to furnaces, the Ex-L thermocouples provides substantial benefits by providing reliable temperature measurement over extended periods of time.

Where precise, repeatable temperature measurements are important, AccuTru's SVS/2311 temperature measurement devices are the system of choice.  The SVS system provides the operator with a continuous report on the status of sensor health, alerting the operator when the sensor begins to fail, and indicates when the sensor data can no longer be validated and the sensor needs to be replaced.
