Steel-Base Metal Applications...

AccuTru's advanced temperature measurement systems, the SVS/2311, and the Ex-L mineral insulated metal sheathed sensors provide significant benefits to all components of the steel-base metal industry. Two major United States Steel Companies are now using AccuTru Ex-L thermocouples in their furnace operations.

For critical temperature measurement applications, the SVS/2311 provides the operator with validated, NIST traceable temperature measurements in the range of -200° C to 1230° C., for the life of the sensor.  These metal sheathed sensors provide long life due to AccuTru's proprietary  ceramic insulation and special sensor fabrication techniques.

For applications where validated data is not critical, AccuTru's Ex-L, mineral insulated, metal sheathed sensors are ideal.  Although not providing validated data to the user, the Ex-L sensors provide up to four times the life of conventional sensors insulated with MgO.
